The sparkle is incredible in direct sunlight, and even in the shade it still catches the light beautifully. It’s subtle enough that I wear it every single day without feeling like it’s ‘too much,’ but eye-catching enough that I get compliments on it constantly. If you’re looking for something elegant that you can wear daily without worry, this is it. This is after 3 months of daily wear.

I was looking for yellow gold, since I wear mostly yellow gold now. I was really wanting The Layla, because I love the setting, but it’s only available in white gold/silver. I opted for The Amber since it was a similar style and available in yellow. I don’t really care for a hidden halo, and it doesn’t really bother me, but the yellow is YELLOW! I thought the other reviews I saw regarding the yellow was just a fluke, since there were only a few of them. Unfortunately, the yellow coloring makes the rings look cheap; to me anyway. Don’t get me wrong, it is gorgeous, and I love a cushion cut. It does match perfectly with The Always band for a timeless look. Again, it’s just really yellow.

I have purchased DOZENS of engagement ring dupes over the last 20 years for myself and for friends, both for practice to see what I liked, and more recently for travel. Let me tell you that every other company sells flimsy rings that look like glass. The Amber made me feel like I was wearing the real deal without making me feel like a target for robbers. I highly recommend this ring in particular! I'm interested in checking out the earrings now too.

I bought this ring and the matching band a little over two months ago, and have already noticed some scratching on the bands and some cloudiness and discoloration in the stone. Despite these things, this is a beautiful ring for someone wanting a more minimalistic set for a great price!
