I work in construction and I forget to put my silicone band on most days. But this ring holds up to any tough situation. The brushed finish on the ridge with polished edges provides an elegant contrast in texture and timeless disposition. I love the fact that this band is unique yet inexpensive, providing a great feel with the comfort fit, and peace of mind of I were ever to lose or damage the ring. If you’re in between on whether to get a classic gold band or something different, go with gold. It’ll never go out of style and gives a sense of strength to any onlooker. This was my first time wearing an 8mm band, as I was hesitant at first, but I’m a fairly big guy (6’2”, 220lbs) so it looks proportionate and feels great on my hand. I had to return my first purchase due to the ring being too small, but customer service was responsive and processing was quick and easy. If purchasing an 8mm wedding band, I would go up about a half size. Thanks Modern Gents!
