I received the bliss today and it is absolutely STUNNING! I have been married 15 years and love my original wedding set, but wanted a ring with a larger stone just for that extra sparkle. Okay so first off I wanna start off by saying Modern gents is the best! I’m allergic to a lot of metals and when my husband proposed to me I got an allergic reaction to the ring. Many stores later, many amazon rings later, and no success until Modern gents showed up! I have worn this set everywhere, not a single scratch, absolutely STUNNING, and I love it so much!! I’m so happy there is such a high quality jewelry brand that’s not only affordable, but that makes their jewelry from materials that are safe for people who have many allergies like me. If you’re someone who is worried to purchase a ring from Modern Gents, because you’re worried about the quality or that it could cause an allergic reaction if you have issues like me, I hope this review really helps you and you try out their jewelry!! My now husband proposed to me with this ring, so it holds a very special place in my heart. I fell in love with it the moment I saw it, and I’ve received so many compliments on how beautiful it is.
Unfortunately, after only seven months of wear, I’ve started to notice significant wear and tear. The plating has begun to wear off, and the center stone has developed a noticeable scratch down the middle. I’ve been extremely careful with this ring. I’ve never exposed it to water or harsh cleaners, and I always remove it when cooking, cleaning, or doing anything that could potentially damage it.
Despite taking such good care of it, the ring is already beginning to lose its luster and show signs of wear. I still absolutely love the design and what this ring means to me, but I’m disappointed that it hasn’t held up better, especially considering how carefully I’ve treated it. Sadly, based on how it has worn in just seven months, I’m not confident it will hold up well over time.
