This is a beautiful necklace that looks "real" if that's what you're going for. I get compliments on it when I wear it, and it has worn well with no patina yet. If you look close at each of the stone settings you can tell that it isn't a real gold piece, because the metal holding each stone is thicker than it normally would be. This is probably due to the layered materials. But I am very happy with it it's been a favorite over the past year. I LOVE the shorter length. If you want a station necklace that sits close to the neck you won't be sorry with this one. Classic style.
